The Congress Party has launched a series of protests nationwide following the cancellation of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha membership. Dubbed as the 'Sankalp Satyagraha', Congress leaders initiated the campaign at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, accusing Prime Minister Modi and the BJP of trying to suppress Rahul's voice and undermine the Congress Party.

Speaking at the event, Revanth Reddy alleged that Rahul Gandhi was disqualified because he lacked the courage to face his opponents. Reddy also reminded the audience that Rahul's grandfather, Nehru, was imprisoned during India's fight for independence.

The Congress leaders announced that they would take action to protest against Rahul Gandhi's disqualification. They are even discussing the possibility of Congress MPs resigning from their positions if the party orders them to do so.

Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy, who also participated in the protest, expressed his sadness over the decision to disqualify Rahul. He added that Rahul had relinquished the chance to become the Prime Minister.

The BJP is allegedly conspiring against Rahul Gandhi because he spoke out against Adani, leading to fears that he will be targeted in Parliament. Congress leaders have vowed to fight until Rahul's disqualification is lifted, and Venkata Reddy warned that the same fate that befell Indira Gandhi could happen again. Notably, all Congress leaders, including Revanth Reddy, Manik Rao Thackeray, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponnala, V H, participated in the initiation.
