The trial of MLC Kavitha, which has been watched with bated breath since this morning, has finally ended. ED had interrogated Kavitha at length in the Delhi liquor scam case. Kavitha, who attended the hearing on Monday at the ED office in Delhi, was interrogated by the authorities for more than 10 hours. Many dramatic developments took place on this occasion.

Telangana Additional AG advocate Bharat Gandra Mohan went to the ED office. With this, there was excitement as to what was going to happen moment by moment. But Kavitha was released after 9 pm after the investigation. Later, Kavitha came out of the ED office and left in her convoy showing victory signs.

There were many speculations that Kavitha would be arrested. But Kavita's lawyers also made an entry and there was concern. But when Kavita's lawyers contacted the ED officials, they told the media that there was only paper work. But as she did not come out even after many hours, there was a lot of tension. Finally, at 9 o'clock, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

All the prime accused in the Delhi liquor scam have already been arrested. It is noteworthy that no one from Delhi Deputy CM Sisodia to Ramachandra Pillai, who was named by ED as Kavita Benami, got bail.

All ranks of BRS breathed a sigh of relief as the ED, who stated that Kavitha was the focal point of this scam, was released after questioning. However, one has to wonder whether this is the start of a calm period or is it the calm before the next storm.
