The Telangana Assembly elections are expected to take place in the next six to seven months, and the schedule may be announced in the next three to four months. However, the Telangana BJP is facing internal issues that could impact its chances in the upcoming elections. The party leaders, who have been vocal about their intention to come to power are currently engaged in internal fights.

This has raised doubts about the party's direction and its ability to win the upcoming elections. Even the party seniors are shocked by the internal fights, given that the Delhi BJP leaders have taken the elections very seriously. The internal fights seem to have been triggered by Telangana BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay's efforts to bring in
new leaders to the party through his padayatra. While some leaders support his efforts, others are concerned that it will lead to the centralization of power. It is known that Sanjay's recent 'Kiss' comments on MLC Kavitha at a meeting held on Women's Day have further complicated matters.

Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind has faulted Sanjay's comments and said that the state chief is appointed to coordinate with the national level and is not a power center. This has caused controversy and created tensions between Sanjay and Arvind, who previously had no issues. Party sources say that the tension between Sanjay and Arvind started in the Nizamabad district over the joining of new leaders. There is an opinion that Arvind is preventing a leader from Balkonda
from joining the BJP, and he expressed dissatisfaction with Sanjay's interactions with leaders from other parties.

There are also issues between Sanjay and MLA Etela Rajender, and the leadership has called key leaders to Delhi to address the situation. At the same time, Kishan Reddy is also another power centre who has his own CM ambitions. Etela, Bandi, Sanjay and Kishan groups are now fully active which could benefit BRS in the upcoming elections. It remains to be seen how the party will resolve these internal conflicts and move forward.
