Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Revanth Reddy has made explosive remarks about the senior leaders of the Congress party. During his Padayatra in Nizamabad, Revanth criticized the senior Reddy leaders of the party, which caused a stir among party members.

Revanth claimed that the Pedda Reddy's (senior leaders) of Congress were bought out by KCR, which has opened up opportunities for new generation leaders to take the reins of the party. He stated that the chance to lead the party was given to a young leader like himself.

According to Revanth, the Congress party is currently in a strong position in Telangana and holds the second position in the state. Revanth urged young leaders to contribute more to the Congress party and strengthen it further.

He also expressed confidence that Congress would make a comeback and return to power in the state. He further added that Congress has a solid vote bank of 32 to 34 percent of votes, and it needs an additional 5 percent of votes to come to power.

At a time when the senior leaders have been breathing fire on Revanth alleging that he is a TDP benami, Revanth's open war against senior Congress leaders saying they are aligned with the BRS is expected to further stoke the internal rivalry and bring more trouble out in the open.
