On March 9, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is scheduled to interrogate K. Kavitha, who is the daughter of Telangana's Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, regarding her involvement in the Delhi Excise Policy fraud.

It has been reported that Kavitha, who is among the representatives of the South Group, is accused of paying Rs 100 crore in bribes to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders. An anonymous source has suggested that Kavitha may face questioning alongside Hyderabad-based businessman Arun Pillai, who was apprehended on Tuesday.

The source explained that the South Group was represented by Abhishek Boinpally, Arun Pillai, and Buchi Babu. Boinpalli is alleged to have colluded with Nair and his associate Dinesh Arora to transfer the Rs 100 crore kickback. "Now, we will have to confront Pillai with Kavitha," said the source.

Meanwhile, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was questioned for several hours by the central agency in relation to the alleged hawala channel transactions of Rs 100 crore from the South Group to the AAP party/leaders.

The source added that Kavitha will be presented with statements made by Sisodia during the investigation.
