Since the last two and half decades, the power of the media has gone to the next level and in a way it has become the key deciding factor when it comes to choosing government. The stamina of the fourth estate has grown by leaps and bounds in this country. However, the true values and ethics of the media circuit has stooped to very low levels and a new pattern has emerged.
Most of the media houses are now the mouthpieces of various political parties and they carry the agenda and propaganda accordingly. K Chandrasekhar Rao is today a powerful leader and he is the father of Telangana state. During his agitation, he got good support from the media and in that process, he had also started the 'Namaste Telangana' daily newspaper. Later, he also started an English newspaper named 'Telangana Today'. All this brought him a lot of mileage and traction.
Now, KCR has come up with yet another Dhamaka news. According to sources close to the CMO, it is heard that KCR is all set to start another daily newspaper and it is titled 'Namaste Andhra Pradesh'. As the title indicates, this is going to focus entirely on the state of Andhra Pradesh. Buzz is that the head office for this would be Vijayawada and later on, branches would be opening across other cities like Vizag, Tirupathi and others.
Sources also reveal all legwork is complete and whatever formalities have to be done, even they are completed. So, an official announcement is just round the corner. Already, few dummy copies have been in circulation. Now, what many are eager to see is, what is the agenda of KCR behind starting this one? As such, he has very good rapport with Jagan so unless the newspaper starts coming out, we would not know the intent.
