Former CM of AP and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is known for making historic mistakes, which has been the main factor for the party's downslide in the recent years. One major factor for TDP's defeat in 2004 elections was the overconfidence of many leaders after the 1999 victory.

There was a lot of focus on Hyderabad but the rest of the state got neglected. No doubt the aggressive push towards infrastructure in Hyderabad has definitely boosted the state's image further in the last decade, still there's a sense of neglect in Telangana's hinterlands.

BRS party chief and CM KCR has been focusing on development all over the state and many non-descript towns in Telangana are now developing really well. However, that is not enough and there's still a lot more to do to bring every region on an even keel in terms of development. Hence, many feel that KCR should not be complacent by trusting his MLA's too much and he needs to present an equitable development model.

KCR has been credited with developing Telangana rapidly and bringing a sense of pride to the people of the state. However, it is important to remember that development should be sustainable. A lopsided development model that only focuses on certain areas of the state will only lead to resentment and inequality.

KCR needs to ensure that his development policies take into account the needs of all regions in the state. This can be achieved by working closely with local leaders, listening to their concerns, and addressing them. It is important to have a people-centric approach to development that takes into account the needs and aspirations of the people of Telangana.

So far, he is on the right track but with the elections approaching, if he ramps up the development activities aggressively, his position as the Chief Minister will remain cemented for yet another term.
