The mammoth meeting of the BRS party that took place in the city of Khammam was assumed to be like a counter to Chandrababu Naidu who boasted a lot about his meeting's success in the same city. However, the political wizard that he is, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao unveiled a totally new perspective to the meeting which has now grabbed the nation's attention.

Inviting the CMs of other states such as Arvind Kejriwal, Vinayan and others, KCR made a series of announcements. Top among them is his promise to deliver free current to all the farmers across India if BRS is voted to power. This is not a lip service commitment and he has credentials. KCR has already implemented this in the state of Telangana and it is working very well. When it is proved in the state then why it cannot be implemented in the entire nation. He also mentioned that the country has the ability to generate crores of megawatts of hydro electric power.

While this is just the start, KCR also rolled out a few other commitments such as he would ban the 'Agneepath' program, provide full support to the staff of LIC, and implement the 'Dalit Bandhu' scheme across the nation. Through his 'free electricity' statement, KCR seems to have sent shockwaves to his opponents directly at the national level.
