Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar has been one of the most talked about candidates in the context of Andhra Pradesh politics as he has been making some noise with his surplus financial resources.
In an interesting development, Pemmasani has now become the richest candidate in the history of AP politics as he has declared the assets worth Rs 5700 crore+ in his affidavit.
Guntur Telugu Desam MP candidate, Dr Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar declared Rs 5704 crore worth of properties. He owns a Rolls Royce Ghost worth Rs 2.1 crore, two Benz and a Tesla x.
Dr Chandra Sekhar is an NRI. Most of his assets are in USA according to his affidavit. Chandrasekhar did his MD medicine in Pennsylvania and his wife is an MBBS. He is into business.
The valuation is so high due to the fact that Pemmasani has the majority of the assets in the USA and the underlying dollar conversion rates. But will this surplus financial resources actually turn into votes? We shall wait and see.
