The Padayatra of Nara Lokesh - do people like it or not? It seems that nobody really cares. The Padayatra has been going on for about 50 days and today, Lokesh is set to step into Puttaparthi in United Anantapur district. To mark Ugadi festival, the Padayatra has been given a break for three days, after which it is resuming.

Nara Lokesh's Yuvagalam Padayatra has so far covered a distance of 600 kilometers. The TDP is celebrating across the state following its win in the MLC elections, but surprisingly, this positive energy has not translated to Lokesh's Padayatra. It's unclear if there has been any real impact. In fact, the Padayatra has been quite lackluster, except for the first day.

It's now a situation where even the party members don't seem to care about the Padayatra. There are few people talking about it, and even the yellow media isn't prioritizing coverage. The campaign around the Padayatra also seems to be non-existent. There's a sense that the Padayatra is happening just for the sake of it. It seems that only people in the concerned district are aware of the Padayatra, indicating a lack of response. The yellow media has been trying to give the credit of MLC polls victory of TDP to Nara Lokesh, but there are hardly any takers off late.
