What happened behind the victory of TDP candidate Panchumarthi Anuradha in MLA quota MLC elections is now being revealed one by one. CM YS Jagan and YCP chief leaders took firm action so that none of the MLAs would slip, before the MLC election. Jagan personally interacted with MLAs who were suspected to be dissatisfied and cheered them up.

In this regard, Tadikonda MLA Undavalli Sridevi and her husband were called by Jagan on Thursday morning. This meeting reportedly took place shortly before the MLC elections. Jagan suggested her to vote for the party candidate and as reported by reliable sources, Sridevi has asked to clarify her political future. Sridevi had reportedly insisted on giving her a ticket.

Jagan felt that Sridevi is blackmailing him on the pretext of her need and seems to have become impatient with this, and told Sridevi in a sharp tone, "Do what you want". Sridevi was annoyed that CM Jagan spoke in such a way that even if she did not vote, it did not matter.

It is being said that Sridevi has come to a conclusion that she will not be given a ticket and has no future in YCP. What happened after that is known to all. YCP has confirmed that Udayagiri MLA Mekapati Chandrasekhara Reddy and Undavalli Sridevi cast their votes for the TDP candidate.
