It is known that TDP candidate Panchumurthy Anuradha has won the AP MLA quota MLC quota election. She won by getting 23 votes. With this, YCP is all set to face a serious challenge. Seven people contested on behalf of that party and six have won.

At the last moment, TDP chief Chandrababu won by fielding Panchumurthy Anuradha, a woman BC candidate. While Panchumurthy Anuradha won as MLC, she suddenly became a hot topic. People and netizens are keen to know about her background. Panchumurthy Anuradha is currently the spokesperson of TDP. She also worked as the Mayor of Vijayawada in the past. Anuradha is one of the leaders who can represent a good voice on behalf of TDP according to the subject.

Anuradha belongs to the weaver community. In the year 2000, at the youngest age, Anuradha took charge as Mayor of Vijayawada on behalf of TDP. She worked as a mayor till 2005. She has been named in the Limca Book of Records as the youngest mayor in the country. Later she worked as the chairperson of Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Finance Corporation Limited.  Anuradha's father Pulla Rao, who studied MA Journalism, worked as an IRS officer. Her husband Sridhar is an industrialist. Anuradha has a daughter who is pursuing higher education abroad.
