According to speculations in some sections of social media, Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan may face a setback from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) led by N Chandrababu Naidu. The two parties are planning to form an alliance for the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.

There are rumors that Naidu has been holding backroom negotiations with Jana Sena Party political affairs committee convener Nadendla Manohar, with the intention of poaching him into the TDP. If the negotiations work out, Manohar might quit the Jana Sena Party and join the TDP, as he has been promised a good position and a party ticket in the next elections.

Sources suggest that Manohar is disappointed with Pawan Kalyan's style of functioning, as the actor-turned-politician is focusing more on films and not taking his political mission seriously, despite the fact that the elections are less than a year away.

Pawan Kalyan is expected to address a rally on March 14 in Machilipatnam, where he might spell out his future course of action, including choosing his alliance partners. If he fails to provide any strong assurance to party leaders like Manohar, he may choose to leave the party and join another.
