The TDP led by Chandrababu Naidu may be aiming at a sort of revival but the way certain things are being handled by its leadership is giving a tough time to everyone concerned, especially among the TDP cadre. They are aware that whenever elections approach, no one can restrain Chandrababu Naidu from doing what he wants at any cost.

It is known that recently BJP's former state president and Congress party's former minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana had resigned from the BJP. Kanna had been sulking at Somu Veerraju, the incumbent BJP boss in AP for a long time. He finally left the saffron party and is reportedly looking at TDP as the first option instead of Jana Sena. Earlier it was expected that he might prefer joining the Jana Sena since he had been showing a lot of affinity towards it.

Surprisingly, he is now eyeing TDP because if there is an alliance then anyway there will be bargaining then why not move into TDP. However his high handedness when he was a Congress minister in United Andhra Pradesh is not something the local TDP cadre wishes to forget that easily. Kanna is eyeing assembly segments in Guntur district and there are already many contenders for the same.

Babu has the famous phrase called sacrifice which he invokes during such situations where he convinces his leaders that they are definitely coming to power and hence they need to bite the bitter bullet. There are already leaders working to get tickets in this region but Babu seems to be keen to bring Kanna so that he can project it as his beloved Kapu card. The surprising element is, why isn't Kanna not keen on going into Jana Sena and TDP only despite the local TDP leaders unwilling to accommodate him? Any group infighting is expected to upset TDP than contribute anything meaningful.
