In what can be called as the biggest ever shot in the arm for the Andhra Pradesh industrial infrastructure, the public sector power generator National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is gearing up to come up with a 'New Energy Park' at Pudimadaka in Anakapalli district.

This unit will produce products out of green methanol, hydrogen, green ammonia at a cost of Rs 1,10,000 crores and this would happen in two phases. This is going to create employment for nearly 70000 people and both the phases are expected to be completed by 2027 and 2032 respectively.

Not stopping at that, a total of five solar parks with a capacity of 4100 MW have been sanctioned by the Union Minister for Renewable Energy and Power, RK Singh to the state of Andhra Pradesh. This is part of the Solar Parks Development Scheme and the minister has announced that an amount of Rs 590.80 crores was released under the Central Government's financial assistance.

Looking at the way Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is bringing in a plethora of projects, it looks like the development and growth strategy of the government has become quite robust. After the troubles the state has gone through post bifurcation, good days seem to be round the corner.
