The exit of former AP BJP Chief Kanna Lakshmi Narayana is more or less confirmed. He is all set to sail with Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena by the end of January. He has been sulking for a long time over the alleged mistreatment by current BJP boss in Andhra Pradesh, Somu Veeraju.

A record five times winning MLA, he worked as a minister in many Congress governments and he was a key follower of Kapu icon V. Mohana Ranga. He was expected to move towards YSRCP during the last elections but surprisingly he landed in BJP.

He has been critical of the party's initial stand on Amaravati and now he is expected to lobby for a contest from Palnadu's crucial Sattenapalli region. Here, he has to fight Ambati Rambabu. He is banking on the TDP alliance for victory here. Kanna was reportedly pacified by BJP top brass but he is not keen to continue in the saffron party anymore.
