The state of Telangana recently completed its participation in the World Economic Forum 2023 in Davos, where IT Minister KTR led a team of ten members. The delegation from Telangana was able to accomplish a lot during their time at the forum, holding 52 business meetings, participating in six round table conferences, and taking part in two panel discussions. These efforts have resulted in a significant amount of investments, with the state securing Rs 21,000 crore and agreements with notable companies such as Microsoft and AirTel. Minister KTR expressed his gratitude towards his team and the IT Ministry's Principal Secretary, Jayesh Rajan, for their support during the event.

On the other hand, the state of Andhra Pradesh decided to not participate in the World Economic Forum. Instead, the state government has planned an investment summit in Vizag for March, with the goal of attracting investments under the leadership of AP CM YS Jagan. The government has reportedly invited notable figures such as Elon Musk and Tim Cook to the event. AP IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath defended the decision to not participate in WEF, stating that the investment summit in Vizag would be more beneficial in attracting investments to the state.
