Director Harish Shankar's recent entry into the OTT space came with the release of the ZEE5 web series "ATM".
The Telugu-language series, directed by C Chandra Mohan, follows the story of Jagan and his three childhood friends, who after stealing a vintage car for greed, find themselves caught in a dangerous game of survival as they are forced to trace the car and diamonds worth Rs 10 crore within 10 days. To do this, they plan an ATM van robbery.
The series also features other characters such as Hegde, a sharp-witted cop, Gajendra, a wannabe MLA and CI Uma Devi. While the series is thrilling, especially in the final episodes, it could have been more coherent and shorter in length. Overall, "ATM" is a well-produced series with good production values.
