Police in Delhi have removed barricades outside the UK High Commission, while security arrangements remain intact. This comes after a Khalistani protest at the Indian High Commission in London, where protesters pulled down the Indian Tricolour to protest the crackdown against Amritpal Singh.

The Indian government has lodged a strong protest and called for adequate security at the Indian High Commission, while top British officials have condemned the vandalism and pledged to take the security of the Indian High Commission seriously.

However, the government doesn't seem to be satisfied with the response by the UK government and is feeling that in the name of peaceful protests, western countries may be turning a blind eye to the anti-India activities being taken up by separatist elements.

Punjab police have launched a massive operation to arrest Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh, who claims to be a follower of Khalistani separatist and terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
