Two individuals, both aged 22 and 23, were gravely injured during an armed robbery on Sunday evening in Princeton Park, located in the South Side area. The two were accosted by two men who menacingly demanded money while brandishing firearms.
The 22-year-old individual was hit in the thorax and rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he remains in a critical state. The other individual was hit in the axilla and was transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he also remains in a critical condition.
One of the victims has been identified as Sai Charan, hailing from the Indian state of Telangana.
