The clock is ticking for the clash between the Sankranthi biggies ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and ‘Waltair Veerayya’. While the issue of advance booking purchase is still on in India, the situation in the USA is different. The race for bookings has already begun and it appears that there is a tough fight happening out there.
Well, as per the latest reports arriving, the Premiere Advance Sales have started and the heat has picked up a lot. According to one source, Veera Simha Reddy’s pre release ticket sales have clocked $357078 across 217 locations and this is for a total of 490 shows. In total, 18330 tickets have been sold.
As for ‘Waltair Veerayya’, the pre release ticket sales have clocked $302581 across 196 locations for a total of 428 shows. In total, 15359 tickets have been sold. While it is not sure whether these sales are happening as a fan frenzy or a competition between Chiru and Balayya fans, the numbers are mind boggling. For now, it is evident that Balayya fans are certainly leading the race against Chiru fans in the USA. And with ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ getting the first release, it will be interesting to see how the outcome will be.
