'Dheera' is a pakka commercial potboiler: Makers at Pre-Release Event

Young actor Laksh Chadalavada's 'Dheera' will hit the screens on February 2. Ahead of the film's release, the action entertainer's pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The guests speaking at the event said that 'Dheera' is a pakka commercial potboiler. Presenter Chadalavada Srinivas said, "I am my son Laksh's biggest well-wisher. As a father, I have secured 100% marks! With the grace of God, 'Dheera' will surely click commercially. By the way, I am also doing a Rs 100-Cr movie currently. I will divulge details of the project soon. I am happy that I played a small role in ensuring that Dil Raju garu became the leader of the Film Chamber of Commerce. Hyderabad must become a hub for the Indian film industry with the support of the state government. I have suggested to Dil Raju garu that studios and houses of producers/directors be built over a large parcel of land in Hyderabad so that coordination for film projects becomes seamless."

Laksh said that his character in 'Dheera' is a complete contrast to his real-life persona. "He does what he likes and he is a rule unto himself. What happens when such a reckless fellow is entrusted with a high-stakes mission? That's what 'Dheera' is about. I may have a film background but I have had my share of struggles in my career. I visited several production houses for opportunities years ago. They used to tell me I don't have to struggle because my father himself is a producer/financier. 'Dheera' has overcome all hurdles and is now set to be released on February 2. This is a sincere, genuine attempt," Laksh said.

Neha Pathan and Soniya Bansal are the heroines (in homely and glamorous roles, respectively) in this Vikranth Srinivas directorial. Comedian Mirchi Kiran and others are part of the cast. With music by Sai Kartheek, the film has cinematography by Kanna PC.
