It seems like all the lead actors in the Telugu film industry are busy signing back-to-back projects and trying to go to the next level by bagging good scripts. While some are making pan-Indian movies to expand their market and brand value, others are just trying to keep up with the fast pace of the industry. However, rowdy star Vijay Deverakonda seems to be falling behind in the race.

Vijay Deverakonda, who has created a unique image for himself ever since his arrival in Tollywood, had a rough year in 2022. His movie 'Liger' ended up as a disaster, and his next project 'Khushi', which is being directed by Siva Nirvana and stars Samantha as the lead actress, was delayed due to her falling ill and having to go abroad for treatment. As a result, Vijay had no other releases in 2022, and he won't have another until September 2023 when 'Khushi' is set to release.

While other heroes might have started another project during this gap, Vijay Deverakonda chose not to. Instead, he recently started the full-fledged shooting of 'Khushi' and announced two other projects with his 'Geetha Govindam' director Parasuram and 'Jersey' fame Gautham Thinnanuri, both of which are set to be made on a pan-Indian scale. However, due to the shooting of 'Khushi' taking a lot of time, these two projects are getting postponed further, and there is no chance that any of them will be released this year.

It seems like Vijay Deverakonda is following the slow and steady wins the race formula, while all the other heroes are going on at full speed these days. Only time will tell if this approach will give him the success he desires.
