According to Dil Raju, the movie opened to 30,000 viewers and earned 4 lakhs during its first week run. Balagam is continuing to perform strongly each day and recently achieved a rare feat by having its 9th day gross as its highest single-day gross. The movie tends to earn even bigger numbers on Sundays and is expected to have a long run in theaters.
Balagam is a rural-based family drama that marks the directorial debut of Venu Yeldandi. It stars Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram in the lead roles and is produced by Harshith Reddy and Hanshitha Reddy under the banner of Dil Raju Productions.
