To those who are avoid movie watchers the film 'Die Hard' which came in 1988 would be familiar. This is the film which made Bruce Willis a big star and got him a fan base in India as well. The story revolves around how a cop fights with terrorists who hijack a well known commercial building.
Now, it appears that mega prince Varun Tej is adopting the same route for his new movie albeit with a different backdrop. It is known that Varun is currently busy with the shooting of his new movie 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna' which is being helmed by Praveen Sattaru. As such, Praveen has the bent of shaping his movies in Hollywood style.
According to sources, the story of this film revolves around Varun being a security expert and one of the reputed buildings getting hijacked by terrorists and Varun becomes the one-man army who fights them all. If this be true then the screenplay and action sequences have to be extremely tight to keep the movie engaging. Sources say foreign technicians have been brought in for the action sequences so let us hope this Desi version of 'Die Hard' works for Varun.
