There is no doubt that mega fans are rejoicing after megastar Chiranjeevi scored a fantastic hit in the form of 'Waltair Veerayya'. This has also sent a clear message to Chiru that more than serious roles or some content driven remakes, the audience wants to see him as a mass entertainer who has the power to fight the bad guys and give good masala.

However, there is a small concern in the minds of the fans regarding Chiru's next. He is doing 'Bhola Shankar' which is a remake of the Tamil movie 'Theri' and that too it is being directed by Meher Ramesh who is outdated and has the record of coming up with some major disasters for big stars. Given all this, they consider this to be a gamble Chiru is taking after scoring such a big hit.

As if that is not enough, another update has come which is now increasing the heartbeats for them. Reports reveal that family director Sreekanth Addala is trying real hard to appease Chiru with a script. Buzz is that he has come up with a strong line laced with family emotions and he is confident Chiru would agree to this. Well, if Chiru does say yes, the fans say it is going to be a second gamble again.

As such Sreekanth Addala is a fine filmmaker but his stories are more suited to the family audience as there is a lot of drama and emotion than mass elements. Of course, he has proved his mettle with 'Narappa' but his core expertise is family drama. So, the concern is, how can a big mass star like Chiru fit into a typical mass drama and can Sreekanth really blend those commercial elements which can match the image and stamina of Chiru. Given all these points, the tension is increasing.
