It is two days since the legendary filmmaker K Vishwanath has passed away and while the condolences are still pouring in, one talk has emerged strongly among the media, cinema and public. This has to do with Vishwanath's legacy as a filmmaker and his contribution to Telugu cinema and the kind of departure he has received.
Some of them feel he is one filmmaker who deserved state honors. There is also a criticism that since Vishwanath doesn't have a powerful heir, not much attention was shown. In a way, with the demise of Vishwanath, the era of stalwart filmmakers literally comes to an end.
Now that the government has not done anything about it, some are hoping that the Tollywood biggies will take an initiative and come up with something that will forever be a tribute and mark of respect to the great K Vishwanath. Let us see what happens.
