The SRK, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer has collected more than 500 crores so far worldwide and is inching towards more slowly with no other rival releases for now. However, there is also a talk that in order to prove themselves in a make or break moment, the figures for Pathaan are being inflated.
Bollywood is under pressure to perform and although the movie is a hit, many feel that in order to prove its detractors and boycott group wrong, the film makers and trade analysts in Bollywood may be trying to exaggerate the numbers and show more than what it is being collected. There is news that the film may cross 1000 crores and this has given rise to such rumours.
