One such combo that has been in the news for quite some time is that of superstar Mahesh Babu and the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli's upcoming film.
Rajamouli is no longer just another Tollywood director. His fame crossed the state boundaries earlier and now it has even surpassed the national boundaries, with a great buzz around him in Japan, USA and Europe etc. Such is his craze and naturally there are more expectations on him. Mahesh Babu is currently working on his 28th film starring Pooja Hegde. The movie is being directed by the magic wizard of dialogues, Trivikram and the film has reportedly wrapped up a schedule recently.
Now the film is reportedly on hold due to a leg injury of Pooja Hegde. According to grapevine, the film of Mahesh and Jakkanna will hit the floors in the month of March. Vijayendra Prasad is writing the story for this film.
The movie is touted to be an adventure thriller with Africa as the backdrop. Such films need to be given unique treatment because audiences usually are not that keen towards such films and hence Rajamouli is reportedly ensuring that everything is in place to make this film and also see that it is successful at the box office.
It has been quite some time since Mahesh Babu delivered a blockbuster and his fans are eager to see Mahesh shaking the box office since most of his recent films were just above average hits. Numbers matter a lot in filmdom and Mahesh Babu is also raring to go. Deepika Padukone is being considered for the heroine role, according to rumours doing the rounds.
