TikTok has reportedly been banned from installing in the electronic devices managed by the US House of Representatives. This is according to an internal notice issued recently to the House staff.

According to the notice, published in media reports users who have already installed the short-form video app on any of the official
House mobile devices have been asked to delete the software, identifying TikTok as a high risk to the house users as a result of immense security risks.

The US government is all set to ban TikTok use from all of its federal devices as part of a new legislation that has been included in the massive $1.7 trillion omnibus bill which is scheduled for President Joe Biden’s signature. Recently a dozen states in the US announced their own rules against installing TikTok on government devices.
