Transgender 'male' model becomes Miss Netherlands 2023

The Miss Netherlands 2023 contest has been won by a transgender model named Rikkie Valerie Kollé. The trans person reportedly identifies himself as a female despite being a male person biologically. That's why Kolle could participate in the contest.

"Biological male wins women’s beauty pageant, Miss Universe Netherlands. Rikkie Valerie Kolle beat dozens of women to take home the crown and title. Kolle will now compete in the women’s Miss Universe pageant, set to be held in El Salvador later this year," a report said.

The crowning of Kolle has resulted in a cultural debate. "Considering the fact that we live in a post-Truth world, I wasn’t even expecting anything else. It’s all so predictable and unoriginal at this point," wrote a social media user, expressing shock over a biological male winning a women's beauty pageant.

"There are 8.7 million women who live in The Netherlands. Why, then, did they need to pick a man to win their Miss Netherlands contest? What a disgrace," lamented Joey Mannarino.

Many conservatives and ordinary folks are disliking how gender politics are playing out. "In a truly post-factual society, where men can be women and women can be men, the very concept of reality becomes as fluid as water. It's a world where even the mention of pedophilia is dismissed as a mere conspiracy theory. So, it’s no surprise that 'Miss Netherlands' is a man," wrote Dr. Simon Goddek.
