The Triangle United Telugu Association (TUTA) recently held its Sankranthi Celebrations event at the HSNC Community Hall in Morrisville. This annual event brings together the TUTA board of directors and its family to celebrate this significant occasion. The event was graced by the presence of a special guest, the renowned playback singer Geeta Madhuri. She entertained the audience with her soulful singing and lively dances, accompanied by other local artists who participated in the event. The celebration lasted for about 6-7 hours, during which time the local ladies organized a Fashion Show, adding to the festivities of the evening.

In addition to Geeta Madhuri, the event was also attended by Gadwal Vijaya Lakshmi, the current Mayor of Hyderabad. She has personal connections to the Triangle region and shared some of her memories from the past, much to the delight of the TUTA members. The TUTA board of directors honored her with a recognition ceremony, paying tribute to her contributions and achievements.
