RRR arrived, witnessed, and undeniably conquered the 95th Academy Awards held in Los Angeles. Without a doubt, Naatu Naatu seized the Oscar for Best Original Song, which, let's face it, was an inevitable victory. Maintaining composure and proceeding as usual is certainly not an option. Composer MM Keeravaani, accompanied by lyricist Chandrabose, were bestowed with the Oscars for their contribution to the sensational track from RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli and featuring actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR, who were also present at the Academy Awards.

Naatu Naatu outperformed a formidable line-up of contenders, including Lady Gaga's Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick, Rihanna's Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, This Is A Life from Everything Everywhere All At Once, and Applause from Tell It Like A Woman.

The Indian film industry achieved its second triumph at the Oscars, as The Elephant Whisperers won Best Documentary Short Subject. All That
Breathes also received a nomination for Best Documentary Feature Film, which was awarded to Navalny.

Naatu Naatu's universal domination was further cemented by its triumph at the Golden Globe for Best Original Song in January. The song's live
performance during the Oscar ceremony was executed by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, with Lauren Gottlieb's flawless dancing. Deepika Padukone, the third Indian presenter after Persis Khambatta and Priyanka Chopra, introduced the performance.
