It has been quite a while since Y S Rajasekhar Reddy passed away but even today his legacy and aura stand strong. Many in Andhra Pradesh consider YSR to be no less than a God and this is also one reason why his son Y S Jagan garners a huge patronage from the people. During his time, YSR came up with many projects but one among them was his dream project which remained unfulfilled.

Well, YSR always dreamt of setting up a steel plant in Kadapa but it never worked out for various reasons. However, Jagan seems to have taken up the mantle of fulfilling his father's long standing dream, and he has achieved it. The first step was taken with the 'Bhumi Pooja' for the steel plant which is going to be made at a budget of Rs 8800 crores.

With an objective to produce 3 million tons of steel, JSW is all set to commission the steel plant. Through this, a total of 25000 jobs would get created. It is known news that recently the AP Investment Board has approved a few projects in alignment to their goal of getting Rs 1 lakh crore investment and 1 lakh jobs.

The Mallavalli Park in Krishna district is going to have Avisa Foods and Fuels Unit at a budget of 498.84 crores. This is going to manufacture ethanol fuel and due to this, 3300 jobs will be generated. In East Godavari near Kadiyam, Andhra Paper Mills is going for an expansion with a 3400 crore budget and this is generating employment for 2100 people.

In Poolimadika near Anakapalle, NTPC is going to come up with a new energy park in two phases with a 1.10 lakh crores budget. This is going to create employment for 61000 people. A Steel Casting and Ferro Alloy project is coming up with a budget of Rs 1087 crores joining Srikalahasti and Punganoor. Akin to that, many more projects are coming up in Kurnool, Sathya Sai, Anantapur districts with thousands of crores. All this is indeed going to be overwhelming for YSR's soul.
