WhatsApp has become an inevitable and very important mobile application these days and even for work, it is increasingly being used as a web feature. Now the latest update regarding the Instant-messaging service WhatsApp is that it is enabling a new feature where one can connect via proxy servers to stay online.

This is really useful in scenarios whenever the internet is blocked or even disrupted by shutdowns. The technology giant, which is currently owned by Meta, has expressed that the blackouts like those seen in Iran might never affect the operations of this app again.

The company expressed that it is denial of human rights where people are cut off from receiving any urgent help.  WhatsApp is appealing to the global community to volunteer eligible proxies so that people can communicate freely, including guidance over how it can be set up.

Putin’s ‘Surprise’ Ceasefire Gets Rejected!

Putins Surprise

Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered a sudden olive branch to Ukraine with a ceasefire announcement for 36 hours coinciding with Russia’s Christmas on January 6th. Russians celebrate Christmas on this day, and even Ukraine used to do until last year. This year it decided to unfollow Russian culture from now on.

Immediately, Ukraine rejected it saying that it was an insincere effort by Putin because even on New Year’s Eve, Russian forces bombed the Ukrainian cities like Kherson. Even America dismissed this saying Putin just wants some oxygen.

Ukraine has officially rejected it and now, therefore, any fragile peace is not possible. At the same time, most of the world doesn’t trust Putin’s sincerity when it comes to stopping the unavoidable and unnecessary war that has affected the world economy in a severe way.
