It is a fact that Bollywood has been facing a rout in terms of film successes at the box office and finally there's some good news in the form of Shah Rukh Khan's latest release Pathaan which is smashing box office records.
One interesting observation is that Bollywood is slowly trying to imitate South Indian style of film promotions to make it work. One such trend is that for the first time, film makers are inviting fans for exclusive fan shows and trying to make it a big trend.
The noticeable trend for Pathaan recently is that outside film theatres in North India, massive cut outs of SRK were placed, to have a mass pull. This has definitely been one of the factors for creating a good buzz to make the movie a successful one.
KCR Vs Tamilisai Heads for a Showdown
It is known that in Telangana, there has been a lot of gap these days between the Telangana government and the governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. Recently the governor was enraged about the Republic Day event not being organized according to protocol.
At the same time, the government of Telangana has been deeply upset with the way the governor is acting as extra constitutional authority and poking into political things. Telangana CM KCR is also very unhappy about the governor not clearing bills passed by the Telangana Assembly.
Now, the governor has withheld the approval for the state budget for this year which is expected to be introduced in the assembly on March 3rd. The government has immediately taken this issue to the high court during the lunch motion to clear the next hurdle. There seems to be an inevitable showdown between the two soon.
